I have to make something clear: Even though I dislike noise pollution I am not a person who advocates doing away with commerce and/or modern technology, I am far from being like the Amish. If you have read the 'about me' section you should already know that, yet, I believe we have the ingenuity to create a new industry for quiet technology (quieter versions of things we have now. vehicles, appliances, etc.). The world will definately be a better place if we make it quieter. - I love technology and the "geeks" who create it (I'm a proud geek myself). I love computers and electronic gadgets of all sorts. - Still everything or place should be like the public library or a museum, with people concious that they have to make the least noise possible while understanding why: lowers stress, let's you concentrate and gather your thoughts, and relax. May also increase your perceptive mental powers.

Until that day arrives and also afterwards the call is to: buy, buy, buy, because commerce and competition bring about innovation and progress.


First things first: All and any glory goes to God my creator (whoever he/she may be) who helped me realize these things

Altruism is sometimes selfish. In my case I want to make the world a better place because I want to enjoy it better, so in that sense my altruism is selfish.

The following message is comprised of many maxims, adages, sayings, quotes, proverbs, etc. Hopefully not, but maybe some of you may find it too cryptic or deep to grasp, and others may dismiss it as mindless drivel and ramblings...but again...hopefully not.

In order to really be "AWAKE" you must be AWARE of at least 2 things. One of them is how your mind works.

If you smoke, do drugs or drink this may be tough for you to grasp.

Some principals that you should always have in mind (more may be added later):

Memory is the key when it comes to anti-aging. The very same memories can heal you or kill you (albeit slowly). You have to be intuitive enough to know when not to think about something (remove a thought, idea, memory from your mind) and when it's actually beneficial to linger on it.

Whenever your mood chages so does your brain chemistry which in turn affects your behavior and frame of mind

Having sex is not bad for you but the orgasm and ejaculation may be because it causes your brain chemistry to go haywire. So have sex but don't ejaculate. You can release via nocturnal emission ("wet dream") which has much less effect on your brain chemistry.


""Knowledge is power" and, "Money is power", also, "Time is money", so then logically "Time is also power". Knowledge and Time are our most valuable "abstract" resources. With the right Knowledge and enough Time you can achieve ANYTHING."

Please pardon any spelling mistakes, I will clean up any existing ones later.

Aging is a psychosomatic illness which can be reversed/cured. Noise pollution is one of it's greatest causes.

Different sounds (of which noise pollution is comprised of) affect your behavior subconciously without you noticing it...car horns and engines, emergency vehicles, animals like dogs and most birds, other people yapping and making noise, helicopters, air planes, noisy appliances, the little icecream truck passing at the same time everyday (which interestingly is only allowed in poor neighborhoods) etc. , anything which subconscoiusly derails your train of thought.

When you are trying to meditate (reflect ,think deeply) using positive concepts and ideas which have a healing and rejuvenating effect on your body via the psycho-physiological (psychosomatic) interaction, what noise pollution does is to interrupt your healing thoughts before they crystalize correctly and completely in your mind. What this does is in essence to create an error file in your mind/brain (junk files very much like the error and junk files that accumulate in a computer which make it function (think) slower and sometimes even crash).

The Sound Matrix aka The Noise Matrix (noise pollution) Your mind has the capability healing your body. This is why meditation in an absolutely quiet and comfortable place is so valuable.

Of course people who have to work will find it hard to locate a quiet place to heal themselves, but it is not impossible. Instead of doing something else on the weekend why not devote it to healing yourself, you can even make it a family activity.

The following info was copy/pasted from other parts of this forum.

Obviously (but maybe not to some people) any sound like a car, airplane, a shout, barking dog, loud appliance like a fridge, people talking, anything can derail your train of thought. Even relatively low sounds like a distant vehicle and a distant dog barking can disrupt your concentration and prevent you healing yourself via the use of reason (connecting ideas) and the power of BELIEVE (belief) which has to do with the "placebo effect". This is how meditation (reflection, "gathering your thoughts") should be done: in a nice absolutely quiet comfortable place with not too much light with your eyes closed, occasionally taking in deep breaths. If you live in big city the best time to do this is whenever you don't work the next day. It should be after 2:00 am when it's most quiet and probably with the lights off or very dim. This necessary "darkeness" has nothing to do with the occult or demonic things incase some of you are wondering. It's all about psychology, I will add more info about this later.

Your brain is subconsciously always taking in data, especially if you have your eyes open which is most of the time of course. All this data is being recorded on your brain much like an operating system of a computer is continuously writing data to the harddrive, just open your computer resourse monitor and see. This is why we need sleep. Sleeping is like running the program CCleaner on our brains, it gets rid of junk files. The memory files stored in our brains are made out of chemicals like I explain below. This is why a memory can affect your mood. Because any memory will produce the chemicals assigned to it and those chemicals will affect the other chemicals in your brain.

Every thought or memory that we have in our brains is produced/associated with certain specific combinations of chemicals. Each thought, memory or idea has a different chemical combination/formula associated with it. Each word (which are one of the things that thoughts,memories, and ideas are made out of). "Words" , each one of them has a different chemical combination/formula assigned to it. I just recalled something that one of my friends told me. He told me about a book he had read titled something to the effect of "Thoughts are things" or thoughts are objects.

Also, every substance (including food) that you ingest and absorb (digest) is essentially a drug because it's chemicals will eventually pass through your brain and there by affect it. More about food below.

We know what chemicals are made out of: molecules which are simply groups of atoms. So our thoughts are made out of the exact same thing that the files in a computer hard drive are made out of, that is: atoms. This is one way in which a thought is connected directly to the physical world. A thought is made out of atoms, so it is really an object rather than something abstract or virtual, it is actually/literaly a thing...

Also, the concept of "Mind over Matter" has already been proven to some extent via "the placebo effect".

You may think that you have a healthy digestive system because you have regular bowel movements but this is not the only factor used to determine it's health.

If you wake up in the morning and you need to drink a stimulant like coffee or some type of energy drink or anything else before your mind becomes fully awake and sharp then this means that your digestive system is not working properly. Also, if you become sleepy midday after you eat this may also be indicative of poor digestive health that is causing poor quality of sleep at night.


The first thing that you have to prepare before this diet/regimen can work is your mind. Why? Because when you start looking and feeling younger you will also start thinking and acting younger and your opinions about things and tastes will change and you have to be prepared to feel like an entirely different person. It's a complete "psycho-physiological" change that you have to accustom to. At first you may not like how you feel. This is simply because you have become accustomed to the way that you feel and think now and the change is affecting your mind so it may be a little scary at first.

You have to view food for what it really is: a chemical substance. Some foods are good for you, some are bad, and some are neutral (have no effect). Any chemical substance that you ingest and absorb will affect your mind (some more than others) . Some chemicals will have a positive/beneficial effect on you and some a negative/detrimental one. Going by this then foods can be viewed as drugs/medicine. That is why in America drugs and food are supervised by the same agency, the FDA. This is also why there are food/drug interactions that you have to be aware of when you take any medication. Because food is essentially a drug too. Again: A chemical substance.

These same determining factors are most likely applicable to women too but at least in men the following 2 factors are essential for a good digestive system: THE FOLLOWING MAY SOUND RIDICULOUS but in reality if you think about it, it makes sense :

>This depends on how much you eat of course but for people who eat atleast 3 times a day we basically have to be passing gas all day but especially after we eat. The bottom line (no pun intended) is that if you're not farting a lot your digestive system is not at peak performance. THIS IS KEY: The digestive process which includes passing gas has to be complete before you go to sleep at night. This is why you shouldn't eat big meals late at night before you go to sleep , the earlier you eat the better. The second determining factor is below.

I have had to read all this several times to begin to understand it because there is so much information. Going by what you say then even sounds and odors can be drugs because a song or a perfume for example have the power to affect your mood and memories?

This post compelled me to register. It is obvious that you are a heavy thinker because even though this information is not in actuality profound or esoteric it is difficult to realize to most people due to the very distractions which you mention and lack of time which you also mentioned. So for those reasons this post can be classified as "enlightening" but only to those who do not have short attention spans.

Thanks for all your replies, I am working on making all this info even clearer and complete. But like I have said I have limited time to devote to this forum so I'm doing the best I can. I'm glad you guys are here. Hopefully in the not to distant future we will officially regard each other as friends.
