Meditation should be a part of everyones health regimen. Meditation doesn't necessarily have to be associated with any established organized religion or sect. Meditation can be as simple as finding a quiet place to gather your thoughts. Meditation can release stress, improve your health, and may even save your life.
Here is how to meditate.
At least 2 or 3 times a week find an absolutely quiet place with a comfortable ambient temperature and good quality of air. You shouldn't sweat or shiver (not too hot or too cold). The location whether indoors or out should be absolutely quiet. (with the exeption of the sound of a refreshing breeze blowing on your face in the case that you are outdoors because this actually helps). If you are indoors no appliances that make noise like a fridge should be running. The lighting should imitate natural light as much as possible (sometimes it's just better to be in the dark)
