Grandia 2 for the Dreamcast has much in common with 'The Matrix' trilogy. They are both based on the "conflict of the ages" aka "the great controversy" (the battle between God and Satan of the bible). They both have a hero that will save the world and create a truce between good and "evil". (Millenia and Elena). Then Both Ryudo and Neo go away to some unknown place.
If you've never played this RPG, you should. It's the only game to ever bring me to tears. Don't be fooled by the cutesy pigmy people graphics cause the story is very mature.
The part that brought me to tears below: "A believing heart is strong" (the power of believe) Warning spoiler alert (I think the vids below show the playstation 2 version, the Dreamcast version had better graphics)
