I copy/pasted a reply I posted on gaming news blog:

They obviously need to keep their round logo (including the controller button), maybe change the color from lime green to magenta or cyan. Since this will probably be the last generation of consoles, maybe they should just call it the "Xbox 360 Omega" and have the ohm symbol on the start button of the console. And the console styling can be modified/updated a bit but not too much.

edit: but obviously the insides will have to be upgraded and thats what really counts: the graphical performance

The one thing that gamers can be sure of is that next gen gaming will most likely be a pricey passtime.

bump. I edited my original post.

but I just had a thought, maybe the next generation of consoles (if there is one) will be so innovative that we can't even imagine it right now but i'll take a shot at it: think real "Artificial" Intelligence and skinput technology blended together.
